iolite v4.9.0 has just been released! It has been a little while since we put out a release so there are quite a few new features and bug fixes included.

The 4.4.x series of iolite updates started with a doozy – our new local database plugin – and continued with a myriad of smaller features and bug fixes.

You may have noticed a dialog that looks as below when you run iolite for the first time after updating. The reason you are seeing this dialog is that a variety of files are included with iolite but live outside the iolite folder and may be modified by users.
